OUR   LIBRARY

                   The library is the heart of any academic institution and plays an important role in all academic activities and more so in Pharmacy institutions. The college library serves as the intellectual foundation for the students and faculty engaged in Pharma education and research. The Library is fully automated using library module of VRIDDHI Software from 2005-06. VRIDDHI (Version 2.0) is an Integrated Software for college management. Bar-code technology is being used for circulation of books, periodicals and CDs. Our Library is connected with all other college libraries situated in Azam Campus through Local Area Network (LAN) and OPAC of all the libraries can be searched at one terminal.
             The Digital library has 60 computers exclusively for students to access databases and other resources subscribed as well open access for their study and research. Library has CCTV system to monitor activities of students and other patrons towards security and safety issue. The library website plays its role as a gateway to subscribed and open educational resources.

  • Library have two separate reading room attached with Stackroom.
  • 100 seating capacity for girls section and  150 seating capacity for boys Section.
  • Both reading room and Stack room  connected with Wi-fi facility.
  • Reading room timing :- 8.00 a.m to 9.30 p.m including all holidays and Sundays.
  • Stack room timing :- 8.00 a.m to 8.00 p.m all working days.

                                                                           LIBRARY RULES
  
  1. The Stack room will remain open from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m in working days.
  2. The reading room will remain open from 8:00 a.m. To  9:30 p.m. (All Days including holidays)
  3. The students should carry the I-Card in the library.
  4. Each Student can issue two books for home for period of six days
  5. Students can issue unlimited reference books in library hours only.
  6. Reference books such as Pharmacopoeia, Dictionaries, Encyclopedia, current Periodicals, Magazine and Newspaper   etc will not be issued for home sending. These book can however be made available in the library during regular hours.
  7. Student should not mark or mutilate library books in any way.
  8. No student will be allowed to enter the library without their Identity card and same should be shown at the entrance   of  the library.
  9. In case the Identity card is lost the student should inform the librarian immediately in writing and apply for a duplicate   identity card which will be issued on a payment if the original Identity card is found later on the student should return   the duplicate one.
  10. The student will be responsible if their Identity card is misused in the way by any other person.
  11. Students are not allowed to send any book belonging to the library to any other person.
  12. No book will be issued to any student either for reading in the reading hall or for home study unless the student   produces his/her identity card.
